Student exchange at Metropolia/ Finland, spring semester 2016 - field of technology
The application period for student exchanges during the spring semester 2016 is now on and we are looking forward to welcoming your students to Helsinki Metropolia University of Applied Sciences, field of technology. Please find attached information about the application process for incoming exchange students to the field of technology. Please note especially information below regarding exchange student intake and possible studies.
APPLICATION PROCESS
Please nominate the students chosen for student exchange at Metropolia by sending us by e-mail their names and email addresses. The online application form is now open and the application period ends 1 November 2015. Please remind your students to fill in the electronic application well in time and please note that we cannot accept late applications.
EXCHANGE STUDENT INTAKE
Please note that some degree programmes have limitations to the intake for incoming exchange students. As previously, the Degree Programme in Industrial Management International Semesters can take max. 10 incoming exchange students. Due to organisational changes, the Degree Programme in Environmental Engineering and Degree Programme in Sustainable Building Engineering can only take very limited number exchange students for each semester during the academic year 2015-2016. However, please note that our Degree Programmes in IT and Electronics do not have similar limitations.
ACADEMIC CALENDAR AND STUDIES
Please find attached information about the application process, academic calendar, orientation days and studies in English for incoming exchange students to the field of technology. Please note that incoming exchange students can only choose courses from the field of technology degree programmes where tuition is organised in English. Project opportunities are limited in the degree programmes due to organisational development and curricula changes.
